2012-2013 College Football Bowl Predictions

The Crimson Tide Begin their Title Reign in Dominant Fashion

The Biggest Winner – Alabama Crimson Tide

The Tide had no problem embarrassing the Big Ten favorite Michigan at JerryWorld.  Alabama has only lost three games since October 10, 2010 and those three losses were by a combined 7 points.  Saban has this team ready for consecutive national championships.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish – The Fighting Irish travel to Ireland and embarrass Navy 50-10.  Is this a sign of big things this year? September 15 at Michigan State should give us a good indication about this Notre Dame team.

Virginia Tech Hokies – The Hokies are in the driver’s seat in the Coastal Division after squeaking a victory at home to Georgia Tech in Blacksburg.
Ohio State Buckeyes – Buckeye fans haven’t seen that much scoring in a game since September 25, 2010 when they put 73 points on Eastern Michigan.  The Urban Meyer offense will make Ohio State an exciting team to watch week in and out.

Clemson Tigers – Many people had Auburn over them to begin the season but the Tigers proved they’re a team to be reckon with in 2012 as well.

The Biggest Loser – Boise State Broncos

The loss at Michigan State assures the Broncos will be aiming for the Las Vegas Bowl the rest of the season because their BCS dreams have gone away.  The experts figured the Broncos wouldn’t be in the mix with a new quarterback this season and they were correct.

Penn State Nittany Lions – The Bill O’Brien era starts poorly losing at home to Ohio in Happy Valley.

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets – They had the victory at Virginia Tech but keep them from a field goal with under a minute to go in the game.  A painful defeat for Ramblin’ Wreck fans.

Cal Bears – Cal loses at home to Nevada 31-24 as the Wolfpack get off early to a 14-0 start in the first quarter and never squander the lead.
